Data sources & corrections
Every card in Flagtide is a real place, built from open data. This page lists where that data comes from, how we treat names and borders, and how to tell us when something is wrong.
1. Where the data comes from

Numbers are a snapshot from when the cards were built, so they can be a year or two behind. Card stats are game values worked out from these facts (a place's rank among all places), not official statistics.
2. Names, flags and borders
- Names and the list of places follow the sources above, which broadly follow the ISO 3166 country list. Including a place, its name, its flag or its outline is not a statement about its political status or any border dispute.
- Flags are shown to identify places. No government, organisation or landmark endorses Flagtide.
- Outlines are simplified for small cards. Tiny places are shown with a framed flag instead.
3. Spotted a mistake?
Email support@flagtide.com with the card's name, what's wrong and, if you can, a source. We fix confirmed errors in the next card update. A fix can change a card's facts and text; it never takes away cards you own.
4. Copyright and other complaints
If you believe something on Flagtide infringes your rights, email support@flagtide.com with a link to it, what you want changed or removed and why, how to reach you, and (if you act for someone else) proof that you may. We confirm receipt within 2 working days and take the content out of new packs while we look into it.
